Afghanistan on the lookout for coaches post Klusener's exit

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is hoping to employ mentors following the exit of Lance Klusener and Shaun Tait from the public group. The two mentors left the Afghanistan side later the Twenty20 World Cup in UAE in October-November.

An ACB official affirmed that the agreements of Klusener and Tait were simply up to December and the board is watching out for worldwide mentors for the public group, which left for Qatar on Monday (January 3) to play the Netherlands in a three-match One-Day International series.

For the present, previous worldwide Nawroz Mangal (49 ODIs, 32 T20Is) has assumed responsibility for the group that is being driven by Hashmatullah Shahidi. The side will play three matches in Doha on January 21, 23 and 25.
