Bangladesh Cricket Board confirms six franchises for BPL

Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League's administering chamber has settled six establishments for the eighth release of Bangladesh Premier League, BCB sources affirmed to Cricbuzz on Sunday (December 12).

BCB had before expressed that they got eight Expressions of Interest(s). Three new business houses, close by three previous establishments, are relied upon to partake in the competition. It has been discovered that the new business houses are set to be Rupa and Marn Group (Dhaka Division), Progoti Group (Sylhet Division) and MindTree (Khulna Division).

Fortune Group and Akhtar Group, who possessed Barisal Division and Chattogram Division individually in the past version, have stowed the freedoms for those two establishments. ''In the last version, there was an arrangement of playing four abroad players while in this release three players will be participating for each establishment. The date for the draft is yet to be concluded and whenever it is finished we would be more coordinated. You realize that the players' draft of PSL is occurring today, and after it is finished we can have an unmistakable picture about the accessibility of the unfamiliar players in the opposition and can tell you who we will affirm,'' he added.

The BPL is relied upon to be organized from January 20 to February 20. Notwithstanding, as things stand, it is conflicting with the PSL, planned to begin on January 27. BPL overseeing committee part Sheik Sohel said that they are not worried about the competition conflicting with the PSL.
