Ebadot Hossain out of World Cup

Bangladesh pace bowler Ebadot Hossain will miss the upcoming World Cup owing to his knee injury, a Bangladesh Cricket Board official confirmed to Cricket on Wednesday.

Cricket had before revealed that Ebadot is facing time to get fit for the World Cup and presently stands managed out of the competition as he requires procedure on his knee.

"He (Ebadot) won't be accessible as far as we're concerned On the planet Cup," BCB boss selector Minhajul Abedin told Cricket on Wednesday.

"It's a major blow for us as he will require activity for his knee. Following the activity he will unquestionably set aside some margin for recovery reason, no less than three to four months, so we can't think about him for World Cup," he said.

Ebadot experienced a foremost cruciate tendon (upper leg tendon) injury during last month's ODI series against Afghanistan. The 29-year-old pacer, who has addressed Bangladesh in 12 ODIs since his 50-over debut last year, was traded by Tanzim Sakib for the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh lead trainer Chandika Hathurusingha and ODI commander Shakib al Hasan were frustrated to lose Ebadot.

"It is exceptionally miserable that Ebadot isn't with us since he was a significant piece of our group and thinking about that it is very disheartening," Shakib had told correspondents during the pre series public interview in Dhaka on August 26.

"Ebadot is one of our effect bowlers, the quickest bowler out of the five quick bowlers we played in the last hardly any series. Thus, it's a major misfortune, and to supplant him straight away it's a hard errand," added Hathurusingha in the presser went to by the two of them.

The shortfall of Ebadot nonattendance changes the elements of the bowling assault. He used to bowl the center overs, permitting Taskin Ahmed to work with the new ball. It was Ebadot's speed that assisted him with prevailing in the center overs and it is not yet clear the way in which Taskin fits in that job.

Hasan Mahmud isn't the most ideal decision to bowl in the center as he is more valuable toward the beginning and the demise. Aside from Taskin, Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam are different choices to fill in for Ebadot however the reality of the situation will surface eventually in the event that they will be as compelling.
