Gleeson called up to England's T20I squad

England have given a lady T20I hit as long as 34-year-old Lancashire seamer Richard Gleeson for the impending three-match series against India, beginning July 7. Gleeson is presently the second-most elevated wicket-taker in the continuous T20 Blast 2022 with 20 scalps in 12 games at a normal of 16.10.

Previous Test chief Joe Root gets back to the ODI overlay following a hole of a year, having last played a 50-overs game for England against Sri Lanka last July.
