Hrishikesh Kanitkar appointed batting coach of Indian womens team

Hrishikesh Kanitkar has been named the batting mentor of India's ladies' group, and will bring charge from the impending back home series against Australia which starts off on December 9. Laxman praised Powar's arrangement to the NCA, saying: ""With Mr. Ramesh Powar coming ready (as a twist bowling trainer), we are certain he will carry his mastery and experience to the Public Cricket Foundation. Having worked in homegrown, age-bunch cricket and the worldwide circuit, I'm certain he will assume a functioning part in the advancement of the game. I anticipate working with him in his new job at the NCA."
