MCG to host India-Pakistan game at 2022 Men's T20 World Cup

The India versus Pakistan Super 12s Group 2 game at the men's T20 World Cup 2022 will be played on October 23 at the notorious Melbourne Cricket Ground. The date was affirmed as the ICC declared the gathering and competition plan on Friday (January 21).

Bunch 1: Australia, New Zealand, England, Afghanistan, A1, B2

Bunch 2: India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, B1, A2

The competition's primer initially adjust kicks on October 16 with 2014 bosses Sri Lanka taking on Namibia in Geelong. The last will be played at the MCG on November 13 with Sydney and Adelaide facilitating the two elimination rounds individually.

The Super 12s period of the competition - with two gatherings - will start on October 22 with finalists of the 2021 release, Australia and New Zealand, getting down to business at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
