Josh Little ruled out of PSL with hamstring niggle

Ireland's left-arm fast Josh Little will miss the Pakistan Super Association (PSL) through injury and has gotten back for treatment.

Little, 23, was because of play for Multan Rulers in the PSL. He encountered hamstring snugness while addressing Pretoria Capitals in the SA20, and Cricket Ireland said that he had gotten back "just to be as safe as possible".

Protecting IPL champions Gujarat Titans had marked Little for INR 4.4 crore (€500,000 approx) at December's closeout, making him the main dynamic Ireland player bought in the opposition.

He is supposed to get back to wellness so as to satisfy his agreement, and is focusing on Ireland's three-match ODI series in Bangladesh one month from now as a potential return.

Mark Rausa, Ireland's head of game science, physiotherapy and clinical benefits, said: "Josh announced encountering some snugness in his hamstring towards the finish of his time in the SA20 Association.

"Subsequent to detailing this to clinical staff at Pretoria Capitals, he was sent for a ultrasound check that was uncertain. To be as cautious as possible, Josh chose to get back for additional tests and therapy with the Cricket Ireland clinical group.

"A X-ray check showed no huge injury in the hamstring, yet he will stay in Dublin to finish a course of recovery, strength and molding and bowling responsibility the executives in anticipation of the Indian Chief Association (IPL) starting the finish of Spring, and a resulting occupied time of Worldwide cricket for Ireland."
