Lahiru Thirimanne announces retirement from international cricket

Sri Lanka hitter Lahiru Thirimanne has declared his retirement from global cricket following a 13-year vocation.

"As a player I have done my absolute best with, I have made an honest effort, I have regarded the game and I have carried out my responsibility genuinely and morally to my homeland," Thirimanne posted on Facebook.
