Mayank Yadav is set to rejoin the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) squad on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, after recovering from a back injury that sidelined him since October 2024. He is likely to feature in LSG's upcoming IPL 2025 match against the Rajasthan Royals on Saturday, April 19, in Jaipur. His return is a significant boost for LSG, who had been without several key pacers, including Avesh Khan and Akash Deep, at the start of the season. Despite these absences, LSG has performed admirably, securing four wins in their first six matches . Yadav, known for his express pace, was retained by LSG for INR 11 crore despite his injury setbacks. He has been undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and has now received clearance to return to competitive action .
