Pakistan Women beat West Indies Women to win 3 in a row

In the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifiers, Pakistan defeated West Indies by 65 runs to win their third match in a row. Pakistan opted to bat and lost opener Gul Feroza for two in the fourth over. However, Muneeba Ali and Sidra Amin's 47-run partnership for the second wicket stabilized the ship. Even though West Indies continued to score runs at the other end, the latter held the innings together. She also put together a 44-run partnership with Aliya Riyaz (20) for the third wicket, but like Ali, she fell after getting off to a bad start. Their woes were exacerbated by a few run-outs, with Riyaz and then Sidra Nawaz (23) unable to continue after getting in. Despite that, Amin's 54 helped Pakistan get closer to 200 and offered their bowlers a chance to be in the game. After Fatima Sana got rid of skipper Matthews in the first ball of the chase, trapping her LBW, that total proved to be too much for West Indies to handle. West Indies, like Pakistan, struggled between the wickets, losing two of their top three players to run outs, leaving them behind early in the chase. Nashra Sandhu's double strike in the 12th over added to their woes as they slipped to 54/5. Even though West Indies reached 100, the lower middle order was unable to save them, and they were eventually bowled out in the 40th over. Brief Scores: Pakistan 191 all out (Sidra Amin 54; Hayley Matthews 2-30) beat West Indies 126 all out (Fatima Sana 3-16) by 65 runs.
