Roach added to West Indies Test squad

In front of the principal Test against Bangladesh, West Indies got a major lift as veteran pacer Kemar Roach was added to the crew.

Bug had gotten a physical issue while playing County Cricket and was to be incorporated subject to a wellness test. Just before the game, Roach was pronounced to be fit and Cricket West Indies expressed that he had "made a full recuperation from a physical issue supported while playing for Surrey."

"It's splendid that he's good for the Test match. He's generally a motivation for the more youthful players we have here and he's all set," expressed lead trainer Phil Simmons.

"With 250 wickets around the bend, we're content with what he offers that might be of some value, on the field as well as in the changing area also. I'm happy he's fit and anticipating seeing him getting out there and doing what he truly does so well." he added.

West Indies, at present positioned sixth in the World Test Championship, take on last-put Bangladesh in the first of the two Tests at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadum in Antigua from Thursday, June 16.
