Wayne Parnell to lead Northern Superchargers in Hundred

Wayne Parnell, the South African allrounder, has been selected men's commander of Northern Superchargers in front of the third time of the Hundred, succeeding Faf du Plessis.

Parnell played two times for Superchargers as a substitution last year and was held for the 2023 season. He is one of their three men's abroad players, alongside Matthew Short - who is a trade for the harmed Michael Bracewell - and David Wiese. They completed 6th last season, with four successes and four losses.

Du Plessis, who captained Superchargers last year, was delivered over the colder time of year because of his Caribbean Chief Association responsibilities with St Lucia Lords. The CPL begins on August 17, while the Hundred runs from August 1-17.

Hollie Armitage will go on as Superchargers' ladies' commander. "Hollie worked effectively last season and she has a great deal of involvement," Dani Hazell, their mentor, said. "She drove the Northern Precious stones to their most memorable title, winning the Rachael Heyhoe Rock Prize, last year so she knows how to win."

In the interim, Trent Rockets have affirmed that Nat Sciver-Brunt and Lewis Gregory will keep on driving their ladies' and men's sides separately. Rockets were men's bosses last season, and lost the eliminator in the ladies' opposition.
